Capt. Blair invades the pass with his old fishing buddy, a great new product from Engle to keep your live baits lively, Mogan of the Week, and the moment we've been waiting for...Weekend Warrior Challenge is here!!!
This week we'll catch up with Capt. Blair as he fishes Boca Grande, Florida with his long time friend and tournament fishing partner, Capt. Tadd VanDemark. As you may already know, Capt. Blair and Capt. Tadd hit it big together on the FLW Redfish circuit a few years ago. Watch as these former kings of the tournament trail battle with some kings of another kind, namely the "silver king," a.k.a. tarpon, and kingfish, along with grouper and the biggest permit of Capt. Tadd's career! You can catch this week's episode on Thursday at 6 PM and again on Saturday at 7 PM on The Sportsman Channel. Here's a little behind the scenes teaser...
Cool your jets... Engle is well known for their high performance coolers. Recently, they introduced an aerated and insulated bait cooler designed to keep your bait alive and happy on the hottest days of summer. Check it out here. Your bait will thank you.
Mogan of the Week...This week's Mogan comes to us from Jordan Rehn, who lives in Apopka, FL. Jordan caught this beast on a 12" live mullet while fishing in Mosquito Lagoon. Jordan and his friends didn't weight the fish because of its size; they didn't want to risk hurting or killing the fish by lifting it unsupported. Smart thinking and an excellent job guys! Looks like 40+ lbs. from here... Now that's a Mogan !
