Cutting room floor . . .

This is one of my favorite episodes of the season . . . Mr. Producer Man gets to edit together footage that didn't make it on TV into what we call "Bits and Bites." The Tortuga trip produced a lot of footage and a lot of fish. You didn't get to see what all happened on Day 3 of our trip, when it was finally grouper season! Another segment of this episode shows you a day when I was doing R&D on the new Gen 2 rods over in Canaveral. I was on a "solo mission," but I decided to bring along my cameraman, 'cause he likes to fish too. Well, I hooked into a nice 15 lb tripletail on the 7'2" . . . can't wait to show y'all this fight. The rods passed my test! There's a few more fish fights you didn't get to see so check out this week’s episode “Bits and Bites” – Friday at 10:30 a.m. ET on Fox Sun Sports (replays Sunday 9:30 p.m. ET / Tuesday 6:00 a.m. ET).

Watch out North Florida . . . me and the AF Crew are heading back up there next month to visit the Tallahassee Mogan Maniacs. I'll have more details for you soon, but who's coming out to see us? Need some recommendations for a good place to eat and maybe even some live music. Give us a shout out on the AF Facebook page if you've got a place you want us to check out in Tallahassee while we're there.

Hey Y'all - there's a new channel you can watch the show on if you don't have cable. New episodes have been added to the ROKU channel so if you haven't been . . . go check it out.

I chose the winner of this week’s “Show Your Mogan” photo contest from Instagram. The winner is . . . Cameron White with this nice 4o inch Snook. Nice Cameron, I'm impressed! Want a chance to win a cool AF Prize Pack? Here’s how you enter: Facebookers must submit their photo within the “Show Your Mogan” photo contest Event Page. Instagramers can upload photos with hashtag: #showyourmogan or join the Mogan Lounge on Google+ and post your photo there as well.

I'm heading back out to get my hunting lease ready for some action. It's hot out there, but I'm used to it. Good luck on the water this week if you're fishing!

Until next week . . . tight lines,

Blair
